My name is Katie McNamee-Oliver. I am a classically trained pianist, and I have been teaching private (in-home and virtual) piano lessons to children and adults in the Conejo Valley since 2003. Current and potential students can use my site to:

As a teacher, I'm fortunate to be able to work with each of my students one on one. It allows me to tailor lessons to my student's particular needs and goals, and to meet them where they are at on any given day. I teach essentials of classical piano playing, including music reading, rhythm, music theory, and piano playing technique. I also work hard to help students learn the not so obvious lessons that come with studying an instrument..lessons about themselves and lessons about life...that I believe will stay with them long after their lessons with me have ended.
